Marsden Park Master Plan

Marsden Park, originally designated as a town centre, has been elevated to be a  strategic centre. The suburb is located in the North West of Sydney, Australia and will in future have a Metro railway station with a direction connection to the second airport.

Glyde_Bautovich were engaged to undertake an urban design analysis and the design of a potential centre focussing on a large site that interfaces with the Metro Line.

As the local context is generally unoccupied and level land, a grid was chosen for the centre to set up a hierarchy of streets and lanes with a focus on pedestrian movement and vehicles at the periphery. A central open space is located at the heart of the centre.

We have ensured that the configuration of the proposed  new lots have considered existing lot lines to optimise potential amalgamation and development.
